The Bush Lapa

The Bush Lapa, set in an African rustic theme, provides traditional food cooked on an open fire. The open-air setting is unique; one can sit around the fire, gaze at the stars, or have a grand stand view of Mossel Bay in the distance. The center stage provides the perfect setting for a host of local artists to display their musical talents. The menu includes oxtail and lamb potjies served with a variety of vegetable dishes or an authentic South African spitbraai. Add to it our ‘secret recipe' roosterkoek, sumptuous salads and desserts, and you are guaranteed a quality culinary experience. Our bush bar, situated within the lapa, is a perfect spot to quench one's thirst. The Bush Lapa can accommodate up to 300 guests. Every December, the lapa is the host to the Bush Lapa Music Festival that includes performances of a number of well-kown local artists.
